These terms cover your use of Narrate (“we”, “us”), including our website, app, and integrations. By using Narrate, you agree to them. If you use it for an organization, you must have authority to agree on its behalf. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle information.
Using Narrate
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement. Only connect repositories and submit content you are authorized to share with us.
Keep your account and connected tools secure. You are responsible for permissions you grant and actions taken through your account by you or tools you authorize.
Your code and content
Your code and content remain yours. You give us permission to access, process, store, and display them as needed to run and secure Narrate for you, including through our service providers and tools you authorize. This does not give us ownership or a right to train AI models on your content.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
Avoid including secrets or personal information Narrate does not need. Narrate’s software, design, and branding belong to us or our licensors. Separately published open-source licenses govern the code they cover.
Use the service responsibly
Do not use Narrate to:
- Break the law or violate someone else’s rights.
- Access accounts, repositories, or information without permission.
- Bypass security or usage limits, disrupt the service, or introduce malicious code.
Check the results
Maps, indexes, and agent contributions can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing code and deciding what to change, approve, or deploy. Keep your own backups.
GitHub and connected agents have their own terms. We do not control those services, and changes to them may affect Narrate.
Availability and pricing
Narrate is still developing. Features may change, and access may be limited, interrupted, or discontinued. We do not promise particular uptime, support, or release dates.
If we offer paid features, we will show you the price and payment terms before you choose to pay. Free features may not remain free forever.
Ending access
You can stop using Narrate and revoke connections at any time. We may suspend or end access at any time, with advance notice where practical. Our Privacy policy describes data retention and deletion.
Disclaimers and limits
To the extent the law allows, Narrate is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or that saved work will never be lost.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the greater of US$100 or what you paid Narrate in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not remove rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will give notice of material changes before they take effect. If you disagree, stop using Narrate. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept it.
General
The laws of Massachusetts, USA, govern these terms. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits continue to apply after your use ends.
